This AKE Special Report, the third in our four-part series on climate risk and response, follows up on Part II by highlighting the opportunities and challenges facing a selection of countries including key oil and gas producers and major greenhouse gas (GHG) emitters amid a global shift towards renewables. The countries are presented by region in alphabetical order.

The report demonstrates that opportunities are plentiful, although different domestic dynamics have led to varying implementation processes (or lack thereof) across countries and regions.
