In this Special Report, the first of a four-part series on climate-related opportunities and risks, AKE examines a selection of countries including key oil producers and major GHG emitters, presented by region in alphabetical order, in terms of their ambitious climate action pledges while highlighting a number of critical challenges and barriers to their sustainability drive.

This report will be followed by Part II on regulatory & policy changes, Part III focusing on renewable opportunities & challenges and a final Part IV identifying urgent climate-related security risks.
